AuraStyle: The App That Reads Your Face Before Your Mirror Does
Every beauty decision quietly depends on three facts most of us never actually know: the true shape of our face, the exact tone of our skin, and its undertone. Guessing them is why the "perfect" haircut disappoints and the trending lipstick looks wrong. AuraStyle — our next app, now in final development — starts by measuring all three, then builds everything else on top. Here is a first look.
Step one: facial & colorimetry analysis
Take or upload a photo and AuraStyle walks you through a personal colorimetry profile:
- Face shape — oval, round, square, heart or diamond, with what that shape means for haircuts, glasses and makeup placement.
- Skin tone & shade — from fair/light through medium neutral to tan/warm olive.
- Skin undertone — warm, cool or neutral, explained in plain language (vein color, gold vs silver jewelry, the colors that flatter you).
The analysis ends with an AI Beauty Expert dossier: a personalized blueprint that turns those three facts into concrete advice — the haircuts that suit your bone structure, targeted skincare for your skin, and the color families that make you look awake on your worst morning.
For her: a virtual makeup studio
- Virtual makeup try-on on your own photo — lips, blush, eyes & liner, brows, skin & contour — adjusted piece by piece.
- Signature trend looks, one tap: complete makeovers like Douyin Doll Glow (dewy glass skin, shimmer eyes) and Korean Clean Girl (airy, effortless idol aesthetic), applied instantly.
- Step-by-step guides that teach each look instead of just filtering it on.
- Hairstyles & an outfit lookbook — curated outfit capsules with a color-harmony palette matched to your skin tone, like a stylist's flat-lay for a Parisian trench-and-knit look.
For him: grooming, handled seriously
AuraStyle has a full Men (Grooming) mode — not an afterthought tab:
- Natural blemish fix with individual sliders: T-zone oil control & anti-shine, dark-circle eraser, acne-mark blur for an invisible, still-you finish.
- Virtual beard try-on by jawline — clean shaven, 3-day stubble, goatee & moustache, sculpted short beard — previewed before you commit.
- A hairstyle simulator that recommends cuts for your face shape (a diamond face gets volume side-parts and textured tapers, for example), with styling tips for each: Side Part 7/3 Flow, Korean Two-Block, Executive Undercut and more.
- An evidence-based skincare routine — a 5-step morning/evening plan (oil-control cleanser, water-gel hydration, invisible SPF 50+, evening double cleanse) with the key active ingredients named.
